Diana M. Castillo, of Miami, Florida, was
elected to serve as District Governor of District 35-N at the International
Association of Lions Clubs 94th International Convention,
held in Seattle, Washington, USA July 4-8, 2011.
A Lion since 2004, District Governor Diana has held many
offices in the association, including Club President, Secretary, Board
of Director and Committee Chairperson. She has also served as Region,
Zone, Sunshine, and Necrology Chairs for the District.

District Governor Diana has received numerous awards, including Millard
Conklin Crusader Award for District and Multiple District, 100% President
Excellence, 100% Secretary, Attendance awards, Lion of the Year, Governor
Achievement Award, 7 Golden Chains, Charles Adelman Knight of Lionism
Award, 4 District Governor Certificates of Appreciation, a Key Award
Member, 4 international President of Excellence and Appreciation, 1 VDG
Team medal, and 2 Presidential medals.
She is a Life Member Florida Lions
Foundation, a Mel Carver recipient, a Guiding Lion and a Melvin Jones
Fellow.
DG Diana has attended many Council of Governors conferences,
Multiple District 35conventions, and training seminars, USA/Canada Lions
Leadership Forums, FOLAC Latin
American and CaribbeanForum, plus other training conferences. Participated
in a Senior Lions Leadership Institute and a graduated member of the
Faculty Development Institute.
Business administration Graduate of University of Tulsa, attended the
University of Aix en Provence in France, and attended a school in Italy
earning a degree in Jewelry and Languages; she is fluent in English,
Spanish, Italian and French.
District Governor Diana is a Vice President - Financial Advisor
of CP Capital Securities, an investment company specializing in Securities.
She is also a registered member of NYSE and SEC with a Series 7 License,
and is Florida State Certified Real Estate Agent.
District Governor Diana has also been honored by Dade County
Mayor and Commissioners with “Diana M. Castillo
Day”, September 18, 2004.
