CARLOS G. UBINAS Lion Carlos G. Ubinas was elected Vice District 35-O Governor at the Multiple District Convention on May 4, 2007. Vice District Governor Ubinas joined Lionism in 1980 in District 51-C in Puerto Rico. Lion Carlos served as a club president and as zone and region chair in District 51-C. He also served as Membership and Extension, Convention, Newsletter, Contest Awards and Leader Dog chair. After moving to Orlando, Lion Carlos became a Charter Member of the Orlando Hispanic Lions Club and served as 100% Club President and 100% Secretary. He has served his district as Zone Chair. Vice District Governor Ubinas attended the Train the Trainer school and many leadership seminars. Lion Carlos has sponsored more than 35 members and has been honored by 5 Past International Presidents. He has served as Treasurer of his Home Owners Association and as President of the Puerto Rican Association, a poll worker and is a permanent Blood Bank Donor. Vice District Governor Ubinas served his country in the US Army. Professionally, he is an Accountant holding an Masters degree in Business Administration. Lion Carlos and his wife Maria Clark have two sons and live in Orlando.
