GERRI M. COLEMAN Lion Gerri M. Coleman was elected District R Vice Governor at the Multiple District Convention on May 4, 2007. Vice District Governor Coleman has maintained 100% attendance since joining Lionism in 1987 as a member of the Zephyhills Lions Club. She has held most of the offices in her club and has served as Club Treasurer for the past 19 years maintaining perfect attendance during that time. Lion Gerri has served on the the clubs Board of Directors continuously for the past 19 years. Lion Gerri has also served as Lioness President and Leo Advisor. Lion Gerri has been named Lion of the year by her club 3 times. On the district and Multiple District level, Vice District Governor Coleman has served as Zone Chair and served as a Director of the Florida Lions Foundation for the Blind. Lion Gerri has received many awards for her service to the Association including Gold and Silver Chains and is a Life Member of the Florida Lions Foundation for the Blind. Vice District Governor Coleman is a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow. Vice District Governor Coleman and her husband Lion Jim have 4 children and 14 grandchildren.
