FLORIDA LIONS MAGAZINE The Florida & Grand Bahama Lions Magazine is a 24-28 page publication paid for by dues of each member in Multiple District 35. It is published 10 times each year on a monthly basis with the exception of two issues. The July/August issue, and the October/November issue are combined. When extra pages are included, it is because they have been paid for by either advertising, or by an organization within Multiple District 35 that wants to publicize their work through a newsletter. Newsletters are accepted for publication from recognized entities at a per page cost. News stories, photos and other information are accepted from all MD-35 Clubs and are used as space permits. Some articles/photos must sometimes be held for a later publication if MD-35 official activities need to be published to meet our Constitution and By Laws requirements. Photos are used if the quality and content are suitable. Identification of all Lions in the photo must be included. Photos that are too dark or washed out cannot be reproduced. Color is preferred if they are quality color prints. All news items and photos should be submitted to: Florida Lions Magazine or email to: Florida Lions Magazine
All material must be in the Florida Lions Magazine office by the 5th of the month to be considered for publication in the following month's issue. DO NOT send negatives (unless requested). No photos will be returned unless accompanied by a self addressed envelope and return postage. The Florida Lions Magazine is available on tape to all blind persons, or those unable to use printed material. Those desiring to receive the tape should contact the Braille & Talking Books Library by calling toll free 1-800-226-6075 Advertising is accepted and ad rates are available upon request.
